"Hart of the Holidays" Performing Arts Showcase!


ImageThe award-winning Hart High School Dance Team wishes to invite the entire Santa Clarita Valley community to join them for their very first performing arts showcase.  Called, “Hart of the Holidays,” it is to be held on Saturday, December 6, 2008, at 7 p.m. in the Hart High School Auditorium, located at 24825 Newhall Avenue in Newhall.
The Dance Team is thrilled to be hosting this unique event not only to help raise funds for their upcoming competition season, but also to help out the ever-increasing needy families in our community by collecting food donations for the Santa Clarita Chapter of the Hunger Defense Fund.  The show will not only feature dancers, but singers and musicians as well.  All local area school groups and teams, individual performers, and performing arts studios have been invited to participate.

A silent auction will also take place on the night of the event in the Hart High School auditorium lobby.  Local businesses that might wish to donate tax-deductible items and/or services for the auction should contact Kathy Bailon by email at kbailon@yahoo.com or Candace Schott at cschott7@gmail.com on or before Friday, November 20, 2008.  Should you be interested, we will gladly display your business cards and/or brochures next to your donated auction items.

Reserved seating is $15, and, if not sold out prior to the night of the performance, will still be available at the door.  General admission seats are only $10.  Plus, if you donate two food items at the door, you will receive $1 off your general admission ticket.  If you donate four food items at the night of the event, you will receive $2 off.  Sorry, but reserved seating tickets cannot be discounted.

The Hart High School Dance Team and the Santa Clarita Chapter of the Hunger Defense Fund hope you will be able to join them for this entertaining and worthwhile event on Saturday, December 6 at 7 p.m., in the Hart High School Auditorium!  Hope to see you there!
