The Magazine of Santa Clarita, elite Magazine and Bellasport are pleased to present “Dancing With Our Stars” event. Come see the stars shine, as Santa Clarita’s very own will dance with the professionals for this inaugural event on Saturday, April 18 at 6 p.m. at the Hyatt Valencia! It will be a night of surprises, as 12 Santa Clarita Valley stars pair up with professional dance instructors to shimmy and shake the night away to raise money to benefit many great organizations. 12 couples will prepare a dance routine for the competition. They will have an opportunity to showcase their dance in front of three judges and a crowd of over 350 people. Celebrity judge, Mark-Paul Gosselaar will be on hand as one of three judges for the event. You may have seen Mark-Paul playing Zack Morris on the popular NBC comedy, “Saved by the Bell.” Mark-Paul has starred in other hit television shows such as “NYPD Blue” and “Commander in Chief.”
So who will be crowned the Dancing With Our Stars winner? On the night of the event, the dancing duos will be judged and guests will have the opportunity to cast money votes using script. Vote for the best dancer by placing your script in one of the twelve boxes representing the dancers and their non-profit organization. For those who cannot attend, you can still be a part of this wonderful evening. You can pledge money by proxy votes, prior to the event to support your dancing star. All money collected by the dancer by proxy, and on the night of the event will benefit the non-profit organization they are representing. At the end of the night, the script money, judges’ votes and proxy votes will be added up and a winner will be determined. Second and third place dancing pairs will also be awarded. Any money raised from the profit of the ticket sales will be divided amongst the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed winners.
