Eating Late at Night Does it Make You Gain Weight?

Question: I hear all the time that you are not supposed to eat for two to three hours before bedtime, but doesn’t that just prolong the “fasting” experience?  I mean, I also hear that Break-Fast is the most important meal because it tells your body that you are not starving it, and it should resume burning calories.

Running Shoes Aren’t Just for Running

Daily we make footwear suggestions for our customers at Runners Lane and people are always baffled at what type of shoes to wear for their activities.  Running shoes are technically engineered that any one who walks, runs, uses elliptical machines, stair master machines and/or activity that requires forward motion for exercise or work will benefit from running shoes.
Running shoes are made to support the impact of running which is a total pounding on the feet and body of 6 to 9 times your body weight.  Also, running shoes provide different types of arch support, breathability, and shock absorption.  So, our belief at Runners Lane is, if running shoes are made with the best materials and technology, then we should be using these shoes for more activities.
