A Note from The Publishers - May 2013

After 9/11, we saw our nation came together to grieve over the many lives that were lost on that fateful day.  It is with great sadness that we mourn once again, for the victims who were killed by explosions near the finish line of the Boston Marathon and for the hundreds who were injured by the blasts.  Our hearts and our prayers are with the town of Boston.  While we grieve, we also applaud the first responders, who responded to the tragedy rapidly and effectively.

Get Ready 2Online registration is still open for the 12th Annual Brenda Mehling Cancer Fund Fight It! Race at Central Park in Santa Clarita on Saturday May 11.  Each year this race raises over $20,000 for young adults ages 18 to 40 currently in cancer treatment to meet daily needs that are not covered by insurance.
Registration fees are $37 for the 10K, $32 for the 5K and $15 for the 1K Fun Run. Canine companions run for $5 per pup.
