The teams also do community service throughout the year in the Santa Clarita Valley.  Their all star teams recently participated in the Relay 4 Life and performed stunts and cheers for the Cancer Survivor’s opening lap.  Each year they look forward to this event and get inspiration from the stories of the survivors.   They also participate in the Annual Kid’s expo and this past May did a demo at the Boy’s and Girls club where they taught the kids a cheer.

Owner Shelly Gramatky is one the top cheerleading coaches and choreographers in the country.  Gramatky is a Pepperdine University graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Medicine.  With more than 15 years of experience in her field, Gramatky is very passionate about what she does and proud of the fact that Gymcheer offers both recreational cheer as well as a highly competitive environment.  Her teams have won numerous honors and awards, including National Championships that have aired on ESPN.  California Flyers All Stars is among the top 10 programs in the State and is in its 9th year of training competitive level cheerleaders.

All of the instructors have been trained in First Aid and CPR and are current or past members of cheerleading teams.  They possess the knowledge, skills and experience needed to help students improve and learn new skills.  Their goal is to provide a well-rounded cheer experience.
