Santa Clarita Valley residents and visitors will get the chance to meet talented artist Judy Larson in person and view a display of her amazing works of art.
Judy is famous for her Art of Concealment, with hidden images in her work, which can be seen with a closer look, and the amazing detail of the work she does using her scratchboard technique, which is a combination of painting and etching.
Two themes predominate, and often converge, in Judy’s “art of concealed imagery:” the precarious balance of wildlife in today’s environment and the fate of Native Americans whom Larson especially admires for their intuitive understanding of ecological balance.
Judy will hand embellish her limited edition canvases for the first 20 customers to pre-order for the show at no charge.  If you can’t attend in person, you may order by phone or e-mail and B & R Gallery will take care of everything for you, including shipping the finished art to you after the show.
In addition to limited edition fine art prints, her work has been published in three books, Hidden Spirits: Search-and-Find Scenes from the American West, a children’s book, and The Spirit Within, and the newest release, Horse Indian Wolf.
