Circle of Hope Receives Surprise Donation
Circle of Hope, Inc., was presented with a donation for $27,852 by representatives from Galpin Subaru during the first SENSES event of the season on Thursday, March 16. The donation will help support the non-profit’s mission of providing emotional, financial and educational support to those diagnosed with cancer in the Santa Clarita Valley.
Our local Galpin Subaru dealership was able to present Circle of Hope with such a large contribution by donating a percentage of each car sale to the organization. Over time, the total came out to an astounding $27,852.
“I am completely overwhelmed. My hope was that we would get a third of this amount of money,” said Pam Ripling, the non-profit’s current president, after receiving the check. “This is unprecedented, and I can’t thank you all enough.”
Circle of Hope welcomes all members of our community who have been affected by cancer of any kind. This includes family, friends and those who have long-since recovered from the disease. Our education and support services are open to everyone.
