Let the Good Times (Keep) Rolling
This is Sisley’s 25th year in Santa Clarita. How many restaurants have come and gone during that time? Last year Sisley completed a major renovation, hired a new Executive Head Chef, locally born and raised, Adam Bokal. Lots of exciting new dishes were added to the menu, while retaining most of the classics that customers obsess over.
In a world of mass production, digital communications and impersonal service, trends in fashion and food come and go, but some things are timeless for a reason. While the decor of Sisley is a mix of Hollywood Golden Age meets Urban Industrial, their catered offerings are modern and accommodating for any budget, any occasion, at any time.
Don’t we all want a place where you can take a date, meet friends, have a business lunch or walk in alone, and still get exactly what you hoped for. Their bar is a work of art and most nights is filled with people engaging with complete strangers. If there’s a game on you were hoping to catch, the big screen television’s are set off to the side, so they’re visible if you want to watch but not forced on you if you could care less. Happy hour stretches from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. closing. Great dishes at affordable prices and once a week is Natalie Nights, when one of their accomplished mixologists is live streaming and serving up specialty cocktails. She has a loyal following and it’s always a blast.
Sisley has that special mix of sophistication and fun, and it’s partly due to the variety of unique seating options all under one roof. “It’s the food you crave in a setting you won’t find anywhere else in Santa Clarita” Co-owner Francine Alba said, and she’s right. You can have a private party in their closed off dining room, or partially closed off “nook”. Sit outside on a conventional patio, or the low couch, lounge style seating of the “west patio”. High backed booths in the dining room to one of the most stunning bars ever seen in the valley. And the valet is right outside their doors.
Monday nights there’s live music on the patio with Dole Humphries, a phenomenal rock duet who do the classics and a few originals, and you can enjoy a meal or just a drink while taking in the free tunes. There’s an outdoor fire pit where you can cozy up with a date or pile a dozen of your friends onto the couches. Additional music acts and late-night DJ’s are scheduled to premiere in the Spring – you won’t find a better out-door dining experience anything close to this.
During the week if you have a business lunch, it’s the ideal place, with timely service and an option to order ahead so your meal is waiting at a table for you.
Sisley is celebrating this anniversary year by rolling out weekly discount offers to the community they helped create memories with for the last quarter century.
