Bring on the Burritos Football Season Kickoff on August 14th
The 9th Annual SCV Burrito Bowl will be on August 14, 2018, at 7:30 at Westfield Valencia Town Center. WiSH Education Foundation and the SCV Burrito Bowl Committee continue to bring the high school community together each year for this fun-filled fundraising event. Over the past several years, the SCV Burrito Bowl has raised thousands of dollars through local business sponsorships for the Football, Cheer, Dance and Band programs throughout the William S Hart Union High School District. We couldn’t do it without the help of our business community.
To kick off the 2018 football season, 5 team members from each football team race to see who can eat a 4-foot long burrito in the quickest amount of time. By participating, each football and cheer teams receive monetary donations with additional funds going to the champion teams. Additionally, a fundraising raffle is held for $1,000s of prizes including a $1,500 shopping spree at Westfield Valencia Town Center. The tickets are donated to each of the football, cheer, band and dance teams who then sell and raise money for their individual boosters. 100% of the ticket proceeds go directly back to the Hart High School District boosters who participate.
