Child & Family Center’s 2nd Annual Trike Derby
What could be more entertaining than watching adults in ridiculous costumes race each other on tricycles? Save the Date for Child & Family Center’s 2nd Annual Trike Derby on Saturday, October 6, at Wolf Creek Brewery starting at 3 p.m. Teams made up of four people relay race in a triple bracket elimination. The triple bracket elimination format includes multiple heats and guarantees each team will race a minimum of three times. Each heat of the relay racing has two teams of four competing against each other. Team members must be 21 or older to ride.
Be one of the companies competing against our reigning champions Valencia BMW and others for bragging rights and prizes, all while benefitting Child & Family Center! The cost to enter is $1,600 for new teams and $1,000 for returning teams. The cost includes, a trike (for teams that don’t already have one), your company banner hung at the event, four free beers per team, advertising and social media recognition. To see the full list of what each team receives and to register visit: http://www.childfamilycenter.org/events. There will also be food trucks, craft beer, a raffle and a costume parade. Spectators will be able to vote for the best team theme and place bets on their favorite teams. Media sponsors for the event include The Magazine of Santa Clarita, Signal Multimedia and KHTS.
Immediately following the Trike Derby will be a live blues concert featuring Kelly’s Lot. The Trike Derby and the concert are free and open to the public.
