2nd Annual Trike Derby
What could be more entertaining than watching adults in ridiculous costumes race each other on tricycles? See for yourself at Child & Family Center’s 2nd Annual Trike Derby on Saturday, October 6 at Wolf Creek Brewery from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Be one of the companies competing against reigning champions Valencia BMW and others for bragging rights and prizes, all while benefitting Child & Family Center! The cost to enter is $1,600 for new teams and $1,000 for returning teams. The cost includes a trike (for teams that don’t already have one), your company banner hung at the event, 4 free beers per team, advertising and social media recognition. To see the full list of what each team receives and to register visit: http://www.childfamilycenter.org/events.
Kelly’s Lot & Friends, a world-renowned blues band, will perform immediately following the races. The Trike Derby and the concert are open to the public. All proceeds raised will support Child & Family Center, which provides mental health, substance use prevention and domestic violence services.
There will also be food trucks, craft beer, and a costume parade. Spectators will be able to vote for the best team theme and place bets on their favorite teams. Media sponsors for the event include The Magazine of Santa Clarita, Signal Multimedia and KHTS.
Come cheer on your family, friends, and co-workers and get in on all the zaniness the Trike Derby has to offer.
