All the Stars are Closer Soup for the Soul 2018 Benefitting Bridge to Home
Get ready for a night of delicious food from your favorite Santa Clarita restaurants, fine wine and decadent desserts – all while raising money to build a new homeless shelter! Soup for the Soul is back-and this year there will be so much more than soup.
Bridge to Home is excited to announce this year’s Soup for the Soul fundraiser, coming up on Saturday, October 13, at 6 p.m. We are stepping up our efforts as we move toward construction of our new, permanent, year-round homeless shelter. This year’s event will be bigger and better than ever before, as it will take place six stories up in the starry sky on the rooftop in Old Town Newhall.
Restaurants that will take part in this delicious event include local favorites Stone Fire, Wolf Creek, Salt Creek, Egg Plantation, Olive Terrace, Fishtail and Nothing Bundt Cakes, to name a few. There are sponsorship opportunities still available.
Bridge to Home provides support services – including an emergency winter shelter, case management, housing navigation, and medical clinics – that help individuals and families in the Santa Clarita Valley transition out of homelessness. All these resources and services are available thanks to funds from the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, subcontracts with Los Angeles Family Housing, private and public grants, and extensive in-kind donations and participation from the local community.
Our ability to serve our most vulnerable neighbors depends heavily on this community support. Soup for the Soul is our biggest fundraising event of the year, and is so vital this year. Bridge to Home now has the land to make the goal of a year-round, permanent shelter a reality.
To make this happen we need your support. Come enjoy a night of food and fun – while helping this important cause. Individual tickets are $100 and sponsorships are available. Please visit www.btohome.org to buy tickets and learn more about Bridge to Home.
