Camelot Movers Supporting the community one pink ribbon at a time
For the past six years, Camelot has likewise dedicated funds, resources, and energy in the month of October to contribute to the fight against breast cancer, with a special emphasis on research for the cure and free services for the underserved. Our first charitable effort in this regard sent five walkers to the Avon Walk to End Breast Cancer in 2012, raising nearly $10,000. In the years following, members of the Camelot family volunteered at the same event, bringing with them a percentage of Camelot’s box sales from October to donate.
Camelot has been proud to support and participate in the Avon Walk to End Breast Cancer, a positive event geared toward bringing important resources and medical treatment to underserved women affected by this ugly disease. However, last year Avon held its last Walk to End Breast Cancer.
Camelot Moving and Storage remains determined to help support early detection and fund research for the cure. Accordingly, this year we’re marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month by donating $10 from every move performed in October to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, with a minimum $2,000 donation pledged! Keep an eye out for our pink-ribboned bedazzled truck on the streets of Santa Clarita this October!
