Fashion Show & Boutique
Soroptimist of Greater Santa Clarita Valley is honored to have Barbara Bundy, Vice-President of FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising), as our Keynote Speaker at the 8th Annual Red Carpet Runway Fashion Show & Boutique, to be held Sunday, November 18 at the Valencia Hyatt. Barbara has been a speaker for the college as well as the fashion and apparel industry at events all over the world. Her stories inspire anyone who loves fashion and especially those who dream of having a career in the fashion world.
This year’s theme is “Red Carpet Runway”, featuring a spectacular fashion show in addition to a boutique showcasing local Westfield brands, specialty retailers and boutiques to fill your holiday gift-giving needs.
An exciting element has been added to this year’s event… A Red Carpet Runway Makeover! Purchase your chance to win a $1,500 hair, skin and nails makeover provided by Josh Rivas, owner of Tribute Beauty Lounge along, with a $500 gift card from Tulle+Dye to be used toward a beautiful finale dress. The Red Carpet Runway Makeover winner will be beautified before and during the event and featured as the fabulous finale!

Soroptimist is a global volunteer organization that improves the lives of women and girls. Soroptimist envisions a world where women and girls have the resources and opportunities to reach their full potential. More than 110,000 members and supporters in 20 countries and territories invest in the dreams of women and girls through access to education. Soroptimist’s main program, Live Your Dream Education and Training Awards for Women, has disbursed about $30 million to almost 20,000 women since 1972. Its newest program, Dream It, Be It, targets girls in secondary school who face obstacles to their future success. Soroptimist also powers www.LiveYourDream.org, its online community that provides on and offline opportunities for volunteer action benefiting women and girls.
