Magical, Musical and Magnificent SCV Dancing With Our Stars and Santa Clarita Magazine Presents Checks for $19,000 for our nonprofits!

It was a spellbinding evening on Friday, August 24, 2018 at the 8th Annual Dancing With Our Stars fundraising event. More than 700 patrons joined together to support the arts and raise a huge amount of money for 20 various charity organizations. After months of preparation for the co-chairs, volunteers and performers alike, the showcase of talent, dedication to the performances along with the courage of the “celebrity” dancers came together for one night of extraordinary performances. After the show, the votes were tallied, and the Judges settled on the best performances of the night. Profits raised from ticket sales were distributed to seven non-profit organizations by SCV Dancing With Our Stars. First, second and third place winners each received $5,000 for their non-profit and best female, best male and best groups each received $1,000 for their non-proft.

Alexandria Grable (celebrity dancer) with Circle of Hope Board member Judy Penman and Executive Director Pam Ripling. Alexandria’s non-profit received $1,000 for best female dancer.

Representing the SCV Sheriff’s Foundation, Captain Robert Lewis with pro-dancers Jade Autumn Aubuchon and Natalie Flynn. Captain Lewis’s non-profit received $1,000 for best male dancer.

SCVDWOS Co-chair Arnold Bryant, Kat Muller (dancer/choreographer) with Japhet Velazquez of Diverse Journeys. Won $1,000 for best group dance.

José Pablo Cantillo, Kristi Cantillo (dancer, IWC Foundation) with Wilfrido Arroyo co-founder, IWC Foundation. Won $1,000 for best group dance.
