Assistance League – December 2018
Everyone has someone on their holiday gift list that is just hard to surprise with a unique gift. Assistance League Resale in Downtown Newhall may be the perfect place to do your shopping. The member/volunteers of Assistance League Santa Clarita never know what a donor will bring through our backdoor. Many of our donated items are quite special and may be just the right gift. Do you have a music lover or collector on your list? Perhaps they would love an antique piece of sheet music, like the ones pictured. Approximately six hundred music leaflets were donated, dating from the early 1900’s through the early 1950’s. Covers in those days were works of art. We have sheet music for familiar traditional Christmas songs, and others from every genre of music. Other art treasures are in the store. We have paintings, lithographs, beautiful art glass, figurines, and many types of art from cultures around the world.
If art is not what you have in mind, come in and look around. You will find beautiful table and housewares, handbags, clothing and outerwear, sporting goods, holiday decorations, games, toys and many other things. We never know what will be donated through the backdoor, and because of our many unique and beautiful items, your holiday shopping may become very easy. Beginning on November 11, and continuing through the holidays, Assistance League Resale will be open Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. We are located at 24364 Main Street in Downtown Newhall.
