It’s A Wonderful Life
This Christmas Season, the Canyon Theatre Guild will bring to life the story of a man named George Bailey in the classic tale of IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE. Based off of Frank Capra’s iconic movie and set in the small town of Bedford Falls in the 1940s, IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE follows the story of everyman George Bailey as he discovers what it means to have truly lived a wonderful life. Mr. Bailey has always lived his life putting others before himself and his own aspirations. But this time George Bailey needs help as he is contemplating throwing away God’s greatest gift… His life… However, with the help of his guardian angel, Clarence, George sees that life is worth living.
IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE plays from November 23 to December 22. This heartwarming tale will warm the hearts of both adults and children alike. So please join us this holiday season and watch as George Bailey discovers the true meaning of life. You don’t want to miss out.
Tickets are $21 for Adults and $19 for Juniors (Under 18) and Seniors (Over 62) in rows 1 through 10 and $19 for Adults, and $17 for Juniors and Seniors in rows 11-back. There is no better way to get you and your whole family into the Christmas spirit. The theatre is decked out for holiday happiness. Be sure to arrive early to join the CTG singers in Christmas carols and holiday songs!
The Canyon Theatre Guild, a nonprofit arts organization puts on nine shows a year at the playhouse in Old Town Newhall as well as a full scale musical with The Santa Clarita Regional Theatre at College of The Canyons. The CTG produces musicals, comedies, dramas, improv, and family theatre. Season tickets make a great holiday gift and cost as little as $79 for Seniors and Juniors or $89 for Adults for nine shows. In addition, the CTG does afterschool, daytime, and summer youth workshops.
