Spotlight Our Youth with Milan
All things creative! That is the best way to describe this talented young lady. The first girl born into her Dad’s side of the family in over 50 years, it is no wonder she enjoys fashion, interior design, photography, fine art, and all areas of cosmetology! She is the true definition of a girly girl.
Milan currently studies with a local theatre production company and has played several leading roles including Annie, Dorothy, and Alice. She also works with a vocal coach and plans on pursuing a performing arts career. Milan says she has difficulty picking just one path to follow so she has set a goal of creating her own company where she offers multiple services to her clients.
Beyond her creative side, she is a straight A student and is a part of the Associated Student Body (ASB) leadership team at school. Her favorite part so far is planning the special events for the school, such as brunch time activities and after school dances.
Perhaps one of the most fascinating facts about Milan, she is on her way to the Gold Presidential Volunteer Service Award. Having logged over 300 hours of volunteer work, at the young age of 12 she understands the impact she can make in the community. The Los Angeles area director for a National organization Milan volunteers with says, “She is a true joy to have at our events. Her smile is contagious, she works hard and has quickly become a part of our volunteer family.”
“Aside from volunteering, schoolwork and her creative outlets; Milan loves to swim with friends, bake, and travel!”
