Veterans Historical Plaza Needs A New Christmas Tree
A call out to SCV community, businesses and groups. Planning ahead for 2019, funds are now being raised to purchase an outside 18 to 20-foot artificial commercial Christmas Tree for the Veterans Historical Plaza in Old Town Newhall. The pine trees at the plaza are all too tall now to be decorated and lit as the Military Christmas Tree, sitting tall and proud. The goal is $10,000. Tax-deductible donations can be made payable to the 501c3 non-profit Prayer Angels for the Military at 21609 Oak Orchard Rd, Newhall, CA 91321. Or donate online through PayPal at www.PrayerAngelsForTheMilitary.com. The fundraiser will carry over to 2019, and donations made by December 31st will get a tax receipt for 2018. Contact: Suzon at 661-799-8865 or email: PrayerAngelsForTheMilitary@yahoo.com.
