A Generous Gift
Judy and Elliott Wolfe, co-founders of the Santa Clarita Veteran Services Collaborative are presenting, as a holiday gift to the City of Santa Clarita and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, a check in the sum of $20,000.00 for the purchase of several Tasers to be used by the local deputies. Accepting for the department is Lieutenant Justin Diez and his cadre of deputies; Sargent Brian Allen, Deputy Luis Gaxiola, Deputy Kevin Duxbury, Sargent David Shoemaker, Deputy Scott Guthrie and Deputy Andrew Stowers, all of whom are veterans who have served their country. Local residents who wish to assist the Veteran Services Collaborative in their efforts to improve the lives of our local veterans, may do so by sending a donation, or dropping off a donation at the Veteran Center, 23222 Lyons Avenue, Newhall, CA 91321.
