America’s Got Talent Finalist Performing at the PAC March 16
Audiences may recognize the wildly popular shadow-illusion performance, Catapult, from the eighth season of “America’s Got Talent.” Now, this mesmerizing show can be enjoyed live in person at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center (PAC) at College of the Canyons.
Dance and storytelling take on new forms as Catapult blends the two genres in this magical production that features incredible dancers working behind a screen to create shadow silhouettes of shapes from the world around us.
Performers manipulate their shadows while matching the rhythm and emotion of musical pieces, ultimately serving the plot.
Be amazed as Catapult dancers transform their bodies into a mountain, an elephant, a dragon, even a helicopter in this unique performance packed full of humor, emotion and engaging stories.
Catapult has fascinated audiences around the world with its creativity and skill.
You’ll never figure out how they do it, and you won’t know what they will create next, but you’ll be surprised and delighted again and again.
Suspense, entertainment and intrigue are sure to accompany each routine and keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
Catapult will take the PAC stage at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 16. Tickets are priced from $30 to $50.
