Looking for Their Forever Home
The Brittany Foundation is a non-profit humane organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless dogs, has several dogs for adoption.
Lori and Zoey – Cocker mix sisters, 10 years young. “We are a bonded senior pair that get along great with other dogs. We would love to be placed together … after all, two are better than one! We lived in a wonderful home until our owner passed away and we are now looking for another wonderful home to spend our retirement years. We are great walkers and do better than other dogs half our age. Our staff tells us we carry ourselves with grace and confidence. They even voted us ‘Most Beautiful Inside and Out.’ We are most at peace just being by a person. Could that be you?”
Sierra is a female Staff mix, about eight to nine years. “I was used as a bait dog in dog fighting from which I have many physical scars but I have even more love in my heart. I enjoy short walks. I am a staff favorite and have been voted “Most Resilient”, “Best Snuggler”, “Sweetest Heart”. Brittany Foundation volunteers have helped me greatly over the years to trust people again. I love it the most when they sit on my couch with me and we snuggle. At this point in my life, I want to be an only dog with no children. Do you need someone to snuggle on the couch with? If so, I’m your gal.”
Trouble, aka, Mr. T, aka, Trubba Chubba Bubba is a male Shiba Inu mix, around six to seven years. “I don’t remember how I got this name… well, now that I think of it, I may have been slightly mischievous in my early years, but those days are gone. I now love to walk, play, and eat, not necessarily in that order. If you want to feel like a million bucks, I’m the guy for the job. We can walk, hike, or simply sit on the couch together. I am eager to please and just want a person of my own. I do get along with other dogs, so would prefer to have other dogs my own size. Do you want to come meet me and see if I’m the guy for you?”
All the Brittany Foundation pups wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
