SCV Education Foundation Honors Education Royalty
The SCV Education Foundation will be hosting its 35th Annual Teacher Tribute on Tuesday, April 30th. This annual event honors one teacher from each of the 54 public schools from the Santa Clarita Valley. This year the event theme is, “Celebrating Our Education Royalty” and will be held at the Canyon Club located at the Valencia Town Center, 24201 West Valencia Blvd, Valencia, CA 91355.
The organization is looking for event sponsors and swag bag donations. “We want to make sure honorees feel like kings and queens which is why they each receive a swag bag full of goodies from local businesses. This includes both items and gift certificates for complimentary food, dessert and product. It’s a great way for the community to say thanks to the top tier teachings working in Santa Clarita”, says Jackie Hartmann, Executive Director.
Sponsorships range in price from $275 to $3,000 and will include on-screen listing at the event, print and social media recognition, event signage and program acknowledgement.
“The Santa Clarita Valley public school system ranks amongst the top 10% in California, due in most part to the critical role our teachers play. As a community, we all benefit from the quality education our children receive in the SCV. This event is a small way for the public and local businesses to recognize their contributions.”, says Jim Backer, founder and Board President.
Those interested in sponsorships or to make donations for the swag bags, should contact the SCV Education Foundation at 661-678-0429 or visit the SCV Education Foundation website at: http://www.scveducationfoundation.org/teacher_tribute.
