Shop, Shop, Shop! At Closet on Main where your purchase makes a difference
Closet on Main is a chic boutique located in up-scale Downtown Newhall that sells both new and gently used clothing. This store is volunteer-run as all proceeds go toward supporting the mission of Single Mothers Outreach, which is to “empower single parents and their children by proving hope, support and resources so families can become self-sustaining and thrive”.
At Closet on Main customers are served by a group of dedicated and friendly group of ladies committed to helping others in our community by sorting, arranging, pricing, and selling donated clothing to the public. The store also sells surplus new clothing to the general public. 100 percent of the sales proceeds go to supporting Single Mothers Outreach and the families we serve.
The items sold at the boutique have been made possible by the generosity of gracious donors. The store attracts numerous customers daily with its low prices for high-quality items. Some remarkable finds include designer sunglasses, handbags, shoes, beachwear and clothing appealing to all tastes. People of all ages and sizes are guaranteed to find something just perfect for them.
Closet on Main also provides a program called “Shop The Closet”. It is a private event to help SMO members shop for free for themselves and their children. This event is held once a month and approximately 50 families (per month) receive clothing and other necessary items.
As you shop customers are able to leave the store pleased knowing they got some great deals on one-of-a-kind items and all proceeds will go toward changing the life of someone in need of a helping hand.
Store hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., so stop by Closet on Main today and pick up some incredible finds; inventory is updated weekly, so expect to find something new every week!
