Taste of the Greater Pacific Located Inside the Hyatt Regency Valencia
Hyatt Regency Valencia has embraced all the “new” that comes with the new year. There have been renovations all throughout the hotel to include the new Greater Pacific Restaurant. Santa Clarita Magazine got the opportunity to attend a tasting. At this event, we enjoyed some of new items the chefs have come up with along with their wines that will be available. We enjoyed the entire experience from all 6-courses to meeting the Executive Chef.
Our first course was the Seafood Carpaccio followed by the Valencia Orange Pork Belly and Poached Baja Shrimp Cocktail. The third course consisted of a Camarillo Strawberry and Baby Kale. To refresh our palate, we were given a Yuzu sorbet. Our main course and many delicacies on the plate. The list includes: soy-miso cured black cod garlic miso, parsnip puree, Shelton Farms grilled breast of chicken, Wild Mushrooms, aged New York striploin, horseradish demi glaze, roasted fingerling potatoes, parmesan cauliflower, Brussels sprouts. Everything on this plate was quite delicious and full of flavor. To conclude the dinner we were given dessert, a S’mores, pop rock truffle. For each part of the meal we had pairing with either Cabernet Sauvignon or Pinot Noir from Canvas Winery.
Greater Pacific Restaurant is a must try from the food selection to the amazing wine list restaurant inside the Hyatt Valencia is really a hidden gem in the Santa Clarita Valley.
