Save the Date for the 26th Annual SCV Cowboy Festival

 Walking into the Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival, presented by California Resources Corporation, you’ll think you’ve been transported to the bygone days of the Wild West. From the music and activities, to the apparel, crafts and food for sale, you’ll enjoy a weekend of western culture at William S. Hart Park in Old Town Newhall April 13 and 14, 2019.
Joining the fun at the 26th Annual Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival are a pair of mouthwatering competitions you won’t want to miss. On Saturday, April 13, the top BBQ masters in the land will come together to battle it out and see whose creations are worthy to be crowned the best in the west as part of the all-new Cowboy Cook-off. On Sunday, April 14, chili will be on the menu for the inaugural Chili Cook-off, with proceeds benefiting Bridge to Home- a local non-profit organization assisting those experiencing homelessness in Santa Clarita.
Music lovers are in for a treat, as the Cowboy Festival will also feature five free stages inside the event area at William S. Hart Park. Kick up your heels and relax as you listen to the best in Bluegrass, Americana, Folk and Country music all weekend long.
Between helpings of peach cobbler and concerts from your favorite musical acts, spend time exploring the grounds at Hart Park. You can pan for gold, try and go eight seconds on a mechanical bull, hurl a hatchet at a target and so much more. Guests can step back in time and take a tour of the William S. Hart Mansion. You can also walk through Heritage Junction, home to the historic Saugus Train Station. Look the part by shopping at Mercantile Row. You’ll find authentic western wear and one-of-a-kind crafts and goods.
