Hope’s Haven Spotlight Bob Pacheco
Bob Pacheco, a business man with a creative side of being a storyteller, had a vision–that of a central hub from which one could discover ways to learn about and implement holistic and spiritual practices. Upon retiring from 35 years as a CPA, Bob opened the CENTER FOR SACRED TRADITIONS INC., a nonprofit organization, and began using his retirement time to take his storytelling to a higher level by developing it, along with drumming, as a therapy. He works primarily with ancient folklore and fairy tales. Since September 2018, Bob has shared his drum therapy with guests at Hope’s Haven Cancer Wellness Center.
Bob lives and works in the Santa Clarita Valley, is the President of the Santa Clarita Valley Holistic Chamber of Commerce and past president of the Santa Clarita Valley Latino Chamber of Commerce. Since retiring in 2017, Bob has focused on learning group drumming techniques for health and wellness. Wellness drumming has proven effective for stress-reduction, healing, boosting the immune system, reducing student drop-out rates and inspiring creativity and bonding. All that and lots of fun!
Bob will be providing a group drumming experience monthly at Hope’s Haven. All drums will be provided; no experience necessary. Check our calendar for upcoming dates!
