Looking for their Forever Home
The Brittany Foundation is a non-profit humane organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless dogs, has several dogs for adoption.
Maddy – Any chance you have a pool, beach access, lakefront, heck a small kiddie pool from Walmart will do just fine. Did I mention I love people? Especially kids so we can share the pool. When I am not lounging in my kiddie pool here at the Sanctuary you can find me on a short walk with the staff or stretched out on my couch. While I love the water and in the Summer months would prefer to be a little wet than dry, I am considered a bit of a couch potato by the staff so if your weekends consist of binge watching Netflix I am the perfect girl for you. I am a female Lab/Dane.
Tramp – “The staff chose me as “Most Likely to Appear in a Disney Movie”. In other words, I’m pretty darn cute. I have been here since I was a puppy which makes me the longest resident at the Sanctuary. I have a condition called Addison Disease which means I take a pill every other day with my breakfast and get a shot once a month but I think over the years that has deterred people from choosing me. I promise it doesn’t slow me down one bit, I eagerly walk everyday with whoever will take me so it shouldn’t worry you at all. In fact, The Brittany Foundation is willing to help with all of my medical bills for the right family. I am a male Terrier.
Bowie Sr. – I was lucky enough to be rescued from a county shelter on New Year’s Eve 2018 with my son Bowie Jr. I was in pretty rough shape when I got here but as you can see 2019 is really looking up for me. I live with the small dog crew here at the Sanctuary and have become fast friends with my roommate Dack and pal Ruby. Ruby and I are vigilant guardians of the small dog yard and are first in line when it’s time for walks. I am excellent on a leash and the staff describe me as a lovable, playful protector. I am really hoping a forever home is next for me this year. I am a male Chihuahua.
Ruby – I am a happy, sturdy, fearless, fun-loving gal who loves nothing more than to go for a walk. I have a great deal of energy so walks are essential to my well-being and a yard to run around in, well that would be the icing on the cake. I made my way here with my roommate Duchess. We were fortunate to have lived in a loving home for many year’s but our human family recently became ill and could no longer care for us. Duchess just found her forever home and I am hoping I am next so if you are looking for a spunky, curious protector, I am the girl for you. I am a female Min Pin.
