Santa Clarita Ballet’s Tea & Toeshoes
Join the Santa Clarita Ballet Company for their annual fundraiser, Tea & Toeshoes on Saturday, May 11 for an elegant afternoon tea as we celebrate the company’s 25th Anniversary! This June the company will present Peter Rabbit and other tales by Beatrix Potter, along with a new work, Hansel & Gretel.
The Oaks Club Valencia provides an elegant setting with beautiful views of the Santa Clarita Valley and luxurious surrounding areas. Tea & Toeshoes is the perfect way for everyone, young and old, to experience an afternoon tea, silent auction, raffle, and a sneak peek of some beautiful dancing featuring Company ballerinas in full costume. They will perform a few excerpts from the upcoming June production of Peter Rabbit and Hansel & Gretel.
Ladies, dust off your best spring dresses and deck-out your hats, dad’s put on your fancy ties… for this traditional tea featuring dainty finger sandwiches, tea with clotted cream, and decadent scones served by Company ballerinas.
Following the tea, we will announce the best hat winner, which is one of the highlights of the afternoon! Our littlest ladies will enjoy a ballet lesson and whimsical party favors. Winners of our raffle and silent auction gift baskets, brimming with luxury items from local businesses are revealed. All proceeds from this event benefit the Santa Clarita Ballet Company.
Order your tickets early… Don’t miss out on this lovely event as we celebrate our Mother’s Day!
Tickets to Tea & Toeshoes go on sale Monday, April 8. Seating is at 1 p.m. All tickets are $65 per person. Groups wishing to share a table of eight are encouraged to reserve tables early as we will sell out. Please contact Santa Clarita Ballet at 661-251-6844 or 661-251-0366 for reservations. The Santa Clarita Ballet Company is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization. Ticket purchases and Company donations are tax deductible.
