The Gentle Barn

 Ever wanted your own cow, horse, pig, chicken, turkey, goat, or sheep? Ever met a llama or emu? Wish you could have more dogs? Ever dreamed of starting your own animal sanctuary? At The Gentle Barn you can hug cows, give pigs tummy rubs, hold chickens, cuddle turkeys, pet goats and sheep, and even give an emu a bath! And then once you have met them, heard their stories of resilience, and fallen in love with all the animals, you can sponsor your favorite one. For a nominal donation each month you’ll get a monthly, emailed, behind the scenes update of your animal with new pictures each time, and you get to support animal rescue while being involved in the life of a farm animal for the rest of their life. The Gentle Barn is open to the public every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and hosts private tours, school field trips, weddings, corporate events, and groups with special needs on Saturdays and during the week. It is a place of recovery where both animals and humans are reminded that they matter.
