Looking for Their Forever Home
The Brittany Foundation is a non-profit humane organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless dogs, has several dogs for adoption.
MONTE – I am here because my family thought I got too old. I’m about 12 and lost most of my teeth, but that doesn’t slow me down from being first in line when it’s treat time! I am a little shy at first but I like short walks. I made it my job to watch over the yard of the senior dogs here. The staff voted me “Mr. Hustle” and they are surprised at the ground I can cover in short period of time!! I’m a cute male Chihuahua.
LORI & ZOEY – We are a bonded senior pair that get along great with other dogs. We would like to be placed together as we have never been apart in our 12 years. Where you find one you’ll always find the other!! We were fortunate to have lived in a wonderful home until our owner passed away. We would love nothing more than to find our forever home. We are great walkers and typically take longer walks than most of the other dogs here that are half our age. They tell us we carry ourselves with a unique grace and confidence. The staff has voted us “Most Beautiful Inside and Out.” We are most a peace just being by a person … could that be YOU? We are female cocker spaniel mixes.
GRETCHEN – The staff say I still look like a puppy and others say I have the face of an angel. I’m a little shy at first but once you get to know me ,you’ll see that I am fiercely devoted to those I trust. I love my walks, long or short, and want nothing more than to have a person of my own. While I look young, I am a senior who is housebroken and I like to keep my room neat … in fact, so neat, the staff say it looks like I already cleaned my own room.” I am a beautiful 10-year-old lab mix.
TOMMY – I came to Brittany Foundation with my brothers Arco and Scotty, and my friend Shelby. Arco found a wonderful family and so I am looking to find one too. For months I spent all my time with Shelby but now I have a whole bunch of friends here at the ranch. I am still in the early stages of trusting people, but I do get very excited when it’s time for my walk with some of my other friends, who are also looking for homes. I would do best with a person who has the time to get to know me here at the ranch. I would be so happy for the company and who knows? this could be the beginning of a “beautiful friendship”. I am a three or four-year-old male Jack Russell mix.
SHELBY – They tell me I am handsome and quite athletic. Until recently I had never let a staff member pet me or take me for a walk. I am still in the early stages of trusting people and need a person who is up for the challenge. I spend the majority of my time with my friends Dirk, Red, and Tommy. I am happy and excited to see people but am still working on the trust part. If you have the time to get to know me, I would be forever grateful. I’m a three or four-year-old male Spaniel mix.
