Nomination submissions for the 10th Anniversary of Santa Clarita Valley’s 40 under Forty is closing on August 1, 2019. SCV’s 40 Under Forty honors individuals (from ages 21 to 39) that are dedicated, passionate, and heart-led who actively work and lead others toward a better, brighter future within the Santa Clarita Valley and its neighboring communities.
This year’s award ceremony will be on Friday, November 8, at 6 p.m. at the Canyon Theatre Guild.
Each nominee must meet the following criteria:

2. Must serve in a leadership role in their work or volunteer life;
3. Must either work or live in the regions listed: Santa Clarita Valley, which includes the geographic boundaries of Castaic, Canyon Country, Valencia, Saugus, Newhall, Stevenson Ranch, Agua Dulce, and Acton; or Antelope Valley, which includes the geographic boundaries of Palmdale and Lancaster or the San Fernando Valley;

Those nominated to be considered as one of this year’s 40 under Forty will be invited to a Nominee Mixer where fellow nominees can meet and greet with each other, local officials, sponsors, and the Jaycees.
If you are a nominee, you have about a month to get all your paperwork in. We need a cover letter, two recommendation letters and your resume. Submit them at scv40underforty.com/submit.
This year’s Nominee Mixer will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Brewery Draconum located at 24407 Main St., Newhall, CA 91321. To kick-off this year’s Santa’s Helpers Toy Drive, attendees will be asked to bring either an unwrapped toy, gift card or make a monetary donation valued at $10 or more.
