Christmas in July Success!
On Thursday July 25, The Valley Industry Association (VIA) and Junior Chamber International – Santa Clarita Valley (The Jaycees) came together to host their 1st annual Christmas in July mixer.
The event was the brainchild of VIA board members and Jaycees, Brian Schlick and Neil Fitzgerald who saw it as a way of connecting young professionals with business leaders in a fun and laidback way.
Members of both organizations enjoyed a Holiday Wonderland with Christmas decorations, themed food and Christmas music provided by Ed Masterson of SOS Entertainment. Red and Green balloons provided by Kim Kurowski from A-1 Party Rentals added a festive flavor to the Brewery.
VIA and the Jaycees are grateful to David Barkow of Scan Forward for helping to sponsor the event as well as Mariella Masuda from Hyatt Regency Valencia for the catering, Wolf Creek for the use of their wonderful outside space and members from both organizations for their planning of the event.
Plans are already underway for future events so look out for more details in future editions of Santa Clarita Magazine or email Neil Fitzgerald at neilfitzjci@gmail.com to join the mailing list.
