Hoedown for Hope: A BBQ Competition – The Live Entertainment

Circle of Hope is bringing family fun with this year’s Hoedown for Hope – A BBQ Competition at Back Porch Music on September 14.   I can’t imagine a more fun way to end the summer season than with a BBQ Hoedown.
After having your fill of BBQ and traditional fixings, walk off the food baby and check out our Silent Auction to view the many “Summer Fun” inspired baskets featuring BBQ to Cocktails.  Then try a little line-dancing and two-step to live bands including local favorites.
First up, a Modern Blues-Rock & Soul singer songwriter with edge, passion and a whole lot of energy. Let’s imagine that Etta James, Melissa Etheridge, Bonnie Raitt and Teena Marie had a baby… her name would be Alesia XO.
Next up we have Orchard Bluegrass Band. They offer a fun variety of Bluegrass, Gospel and Western Music with a great mix of vocal harmonizing and instrumental arrangements!
We will also have Lance Allyn. Lance Allyn is a Los Angeles-based guitarist/bassist. Lance has been an active performer, session musician, and educator in the music industry for over 30 years.
Haywire Country Band will be hitting the stage with some amazing country songs. This is a group of some of the best (and most fun) country musicians on the circuit. We hope you all enjoy them.
And last but not least, The Grizwalds. The Grizwalds’ music packs the other side of this musical knock-out punch. Pulling from a vast and multifaceted catalog of Pop, Soul and Rock from the 1950s through today. The Grizwalds are sure to entertain.
