Home Buying Seminar
On the evening of September 11, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Valencia, local real estate professionals Lauren Witz Greber and Patti Handy will be presenting free information about the VA Home Buyer benefits and how to utilize them. There will be refreshments, and a question/answer session as well. Their special guest speaker is Mike Garcia, Candidate for Congress CA-25, a former U.S. Navy fighter pilot and businessman.
The trio hopes to help at least one of our local Santa Clarita Veterans, or Active Military, become a homeowner that didn’t think they could or know how to do. That’s their reason. To help at least one, one at a time.
“I was invited to attend a Patriot’s Luncheon a few weeks ago. It was the 9th annual one of its kind here in my neighborhood of Santa Clarita. It was pretty emotional for me,” Witz Greber began. “I posted something on social media about it and wondered what I could do to help our Veterans. A dear friend suggested I host a homebuyer seminar just for them. One that would help them gain knowledge on the benefits of a VA Home Loan with myself and one of my trusted lenders: Patti Handy.”
Witz Greber has been helping people in and out of homes for almost two decades. She has lived in the Santa Clarita Valley since 1992, raised her children here. She is a supporter of the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center and American Cancer Society, Relay for Life. She is married to a Veteran and has a son currently in the Navy.
Handy is a leading mortgage professional and Leadership/Executive Coach in California. Her expertise in mortgage finance comes from over 30 years working within banks or mortgage banking firms, large and small. As a Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Certified Coach, she also offers a unique combination of experience, expertise, and passion to help her clients.
Both Witz Greber and Handy know how comforting and empowering homeownership is. They desire to have our countries’ “caregivers” feeling secure under a roof of their own.
