PAC in the Fall
This fall, the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center (PAC) will be filled with the sounds of rock and guitar music with special performances from Rick Springfield and the Santa Clarita International Guitar Festival.
Grammy Award-winner Rick Springfield will perform “Stripped Down,” a special intimate solo show with interactive multimedia and storytelling at 8 p.m. Friday, September 13.
Springfield became a household name with his No. 1 smash-hit “Jessie’s Girl,” which garnered him a Grammy Award in 1982 for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance.
With more than 25 million records sold, Springfield’s career has included 17 Top-40 hits, including “Don’t Talk to Strangers,” “An Affair of the Heart,” “I’ve Done Everything for You,” “Love Somebody” and “Human Touch.” Springfield has also graced the TV screen, with acting roles on “The Six Million Dollar Man,” “General Hospital,” and “Supernatural.”
Springfield’s rise to fame began in Australia, his native country, as a member of the pop rock band Zoot.
Don’t miss your chance to get up close and personal with this 80s rock legend at the PAC!
Tickets for “Rick Springfield: Stripped Down” range from $55 to $75. The performance will take place at 8 p.m. on the PAC main stage.
On Saturday, October 12, the Santa Clarita International Guitar Festival will make its debut on the PAC main stage!
Under the musical direction of Bill Macpherson, the one-night celebration of classical guitar will feature Latin Grammy-winning composer Yalil Guerra (Cuba), Independent Music Award-winner José Antonio Rodríguez (Spain) and Grammy Award-winning Scott Tennant (U.S.).
Tickets for the Santa Clarita International Guitar Festival range from $15 to $35. This inaugural concert will be held at 8 p.m.
