Patriot Day at Richard Rioux Park
A National Day of Service & Remembrance of our fallen heroes and victims of 9/11/01. Hosted by Prayer Angels for the Military on Wednesday, September 11, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Richard Rioux Park, 2233 W. Faulkner Dr., Stevenson Ranch, CA 91381. We’ll be honoring our first responders and servicemembers, that save lives and protect us every day. Tables will be set up to make Thank You cards for our firefighters, sheriff’s deputies, EMTs, and overseas troops. Bring a donation, if you can, for the care packages going out to our deployed hometown troops.
Most needed troop items: Individually wrapped snack items like granola bars, Jerky, Slim Jims, trail mix, cookies, crackers, fruit snacks, nuts, drink packets for water bottles, thick cotton crew socks (black or white), body wash, unscented baby wipes, 3-4 blade razors, deodorant, and cooling neck & head bandanas.
