Sing for The Love of It
Santa Clarita Encore Chorale invites adults age 55+ to join the Fall 2019 semester. If you have a passion for music, want to have fun, sing four-part harmony, and exercise mental and physical muscles, nothing is better than being part of a choir. Encore Chorale, a nonprofit musical arts program for seniors, is affiliated with Encore Creativity for Older Adults, which began 12 years ago in Washington D.C. There are now 30 Encore chorales across the nation. Santa Clarita Encore Chorale is the only group west of the Rockies! The Fall repertoire is family friendly and will be a mix of holiday classics like Sleigh Ride, etc. No auditions are required. Rehearsals will be held on Fridays: August 23, September 6, 18, etc. meeting from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Newhall Church of the Nazarene, 23857 The Old Road (near Calgrove and I-5). A modest semester “tuition” of $150 helps cover costs.
