2019 Relay For Life Holiday Boutique

by | Oct 30, 2019 | Community

Fall is here with cooler mornings, colorful leaves, and pumpkin spice everything. It’s time to get into the spirit! The holidays are just around the corner, and it’s not too soon to start planning holiday décor and buying gifts for friends and family. This year you can support a worthy cause while finding unique and thoughtful items for the gift-giving season. The American Cancer Society is holding its annual Holiday Boutique on Saturday November 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The United Methodist Church located at 26640 Bouquet Canyon Road, Saugus. Guests are invited to browse through aisles of hand-crafted woodwork, home décor, jewelry, kitchen towels, aprons, fleece blankets, shawls and quilts. Holiday decorations include hand-sewn elves, wreaths, toys, holiday wine bottles, cards and gift bags. Companies displaying their wares include Younique Cosmetics, Color Street nail polish strips, do TERRA, Arbonne and On the Wild Side—Hats by Cheryl.
Several Relay For Life teams will be selling items to raise money for the American Cancer Society’s largest fundraiser, Relay For Life, which will take place in the spring. Some vendors are donating 100% of the proceeds from their sales to ACS: Cards For A Cure (Kathleen Pavard), Toys For A Cure (Lawrence Nissen and Teresa Kerr), and hand-made fleece Blankets For A Cure (Eva Witt and Gloria Stanton). All money raised from this event will support research, patient programs and services offered by the American Cancer Society. These services include Road to Recovery, Reach to Recovery, and the Hotel Partners Program, all of which assist patients undergoing cancer treatment.
So, come and enjoy delicious fruit turnovers, drinks and other goodies as you embrace the holiday spirit and support the important work of the American Cancer Society.
