Congratulations Andy Simpson

 Andy Simpson is the founder and director of Andy’s Homestay International LLC, a homestay provider for international students attending College of the Canyons and Cal Arts. In the short time that Andy has lived in Santa Clarita, he has distinguished himself and made valuable contributions to our community. In just three years, Andy has built a successful business that contributes to the economy of Santa Clarita and provides cultural outreach for our community. Since summer 2017, Andy has placed over 235 students in Santa Clarita homes and provided income for over 50 host families. Andy ensures that these students receive premium housing in a warm, family atmosphere and that hosts feel comfortable and supported.
As a business leader, Andy is ambitious, hardworking, innovative, and capable of solving problems. He involves himself in not only entrepreneurial endeavors but also charitable outreach in our community. He supports the English as a Second Language Department at College of the Canyons through donations and gifts. He initiated the Andy’s Homestay International scholarship which provides an annual $1,000 scholarship to a COC student. He also supports American Cancer Society fundraisers through donations and participation.
Santa Clarita benefits from the commitment that Andy has made to his business and to the Santa Clarita Valley. His outreach has promoted our premier city in countries around the world. He has infused revenue into Santa Clarita and has provided community members with an opportunity to experience valuable intercultural exchanges.
