Peace Love & Light From Jess Guidroz
Jess is the founder of the Santa Clarita Valley VEG FEST, which is SCV’s annual vegan (compassion)-themed food, beer, wine and music festival held at Central Park this past year in May. Jess and his wife Nicole co-created the fest to raise awareness on the impact we can have by adopting a plant-based lifestyle, and how it can improve our health, save our planet, and our animal kingdom. Next year’s Veg Fest is set to take place on May 16, 2020.
Jess is also enjoying his 6th year as a teacher in the William S. Hart Union School District where he is currently teaching S.E.L. (Social Emotional Learning) and Teen Leadership. Jess advocates for change in what is being taught in our current educational system. “If we taught kids more real-life skills that addressed more mental, social, emotional, environmental, and physical health-related content we’d have a much happier & healthier society.”
– Thanks to my wife Nicole for being my rock & for choosing to pursue the unbeaten path to manifest our dreams together.

– Thanks to our Veg Fest team and Hart District colleagues for instilling the grit and persistence it takes to bring about real change in the world.
– Thanks to Santa Clarita Valley Magazine for providing us this incredible platform to stay connected to our city, and for recognizing our youth and the work we’re doing to make our world a better place.
