SCV 40 Under Forty Award Ceremony
The 2019 SCV 40 Under Forty Awards is an event put on by Santa Clarita Magazine and JCI Santa Clarita. The co-chairs are Chelsea Orzechowski, Koren Young and Daniela Echaiz. They had a vision of changing the event to an award ceremony like the Golden Globes or the Emmy’s, brining that Old Hollywood class to the event, held this year at the Canyon Theatre Guild.
”SCV 40 Under Forty has always been a fun and impressive event. In celebration of the ten-year anniversary, we wanted to make things extra special. Our goal was to make the evening feel like a Hollywood event. Attendees will experience the red-carpet treatment from photographers to pre-party festivities before entering the theater for an evening of celebration and entertainment. This is going to be a night to remember,” say co-chair Koren Young.
“The best part of SCV’s 40 Under Forty is giving its honorees and alumni a platform in which they can meet and collaborate with individuals from varying walks of life and industries. Sharing their personal experiences and ideas can develop into some amazing ventures that not only create immediate and positive impacts within our community, but has the potential to expand its reach nationally, if not globally. It demonstrates those under 40 still have the willingness, commitment and drive to make this world better for the following generations to come,” say co-chair Daniela Echaiz.
“This year’s honorees are leading the charge in philanthropic efforts to give back to our community. Individuals in the class of 2019 are being recognized for everything from Castaic lake clean-ups, establishing successful small businesses, and working to make our community one of the absolute best in California! I am extremely proud to take part in an event that shines a light on a multitude of young professionals who are excelling in their careers and beyond,” say co-chair Chelsea Orzechowski.
The nominations have been cast, and the honorees have been selected! Now it’s time to celebrate 40 of our community’s best and brightest at the 2019 SCV 40 under Forty Awards Ceremony on November 5, hosted in partnership by JCI Santa Clarita and Santa Clarita Magazine!

JCI Santa Clarita, familiarly known as the Jaycees, is an international non-profit organization of young active citizens who are “living, communicating, taking action and creating impact in our communities.” This closely intertwined network helps these individuals make leaps and bounds of progress in their respective communities. Here in the Santa Clarita Valley our chapter seeks to strengthen this network by spotlighting the actions of individuals in our community. To commemorate their accomplishments, we have created this special section with congratulations from supervisors, spouses, family, and friends.
