Stephanie Gurne Executive Assistant, Valencia Acura
It was early 2014 when Stephanie Gurne embarked on a career path with Valencia Acura. What began as a job bloomed into a vocation. Over the past 5 ½ years, her personal and professional growth has been extraordinary. The young professional who interviewed for a starting position as cashier/receptionist developed in business growth into a decision-making role of Accounts Payable/Receivables Administrator and Executive Assistant.
What hasn’t changed in those five and a half years is Stephanie’s youthful exuberance, love of life and work, and perpetual smile. She is helpful in every situation, and always has a smile even in the most stressful of circumstances.
Perhaps what is most impressive is her willingness to join community-minded organizations and contribute in the most meaningful ways. Stephanie derives motivation from being a part of local organizations and her centered focus on volunteerism and mentorship. After a NextSCV event held at Valencia Acura, Stephanie joined the organization and became an active member.
She next volunteered and joined Soroptimist International of the Greater Santa Clarita Valley serving as a mentor for high school students and later transitioned into leadership positions for the organization’s annual Fashion Show. All in all, Stephanie has gracefully balanced work, philanthropy, and motherhood to accomplish it all.
As an honoree into the 40 Under Forty Class of 2019, Stephanie plans to use this opportunity to continue to expand her volunteer and mentor work. She loves encouraging others to pursue their dreams as she has pursued hers and motivating individuals to never give up.
