The City of Santa Clarita is proud to have a number of the rising leaders in our organization selected as part of the 2019 40 Under Forty class.
Monica Fawcett is an Administrative Analyst in the City of Santa Clarita’s Economic Development division. During her time with the City, she has taken on projects that focus on business development, entrepreneurship and job creation in the community. In her role, Monica oversees the City’s award-winning Business Incubator program and leads the annual InnovateSCV campaign. Monica’s commitment to service shows through her professional endeavors and her position on the Board of Directors for the Valley Industry Association.
Lance O’Keefe is the City of Santa Clarita’s Recreation and Community Services Manager. Lance has built a career that focuses on providing a great quality of life for Santa Clarita’s residents through recreational and community programming. Starting as a summer lifeguard and growing professionally within the organization, Lance has been a part of instrumental projects that benefit the City’s residents. Outside of his career, Lance helps those experiencing homelessness in our community as the President of the Board of Directors for Family Promise of Santa Clarita Valley.
Frankie Rios is an IT Specialist for the City of Santa Clarita. He began his time with the City as a Web Design intern, where he enhanced his professional skillset by working on projects including mobile applications, over 50 of the City’s websites and more. In his current role, Frankie uses his innovative nature to enhance and modernize the City’s websites, intranet and technology programs. In his spare time, Frankie serves on the Board of the National Association of Government Web Professionals and uses his skills to aid non-profit organizations.
