Taste of the Town Rescheduled for June 14 SCV’s Premier Food & Wine Festival
With respect to public health and safety, Child & Family Center has decided to reschedule our 32nd annual Taste of the Town event to Sunday, June 14.
We are grateful for those who have made contributions in the form of sponsorships, ticket purchases, and auction donations. We will recognize and apply your support to the newly scheduled date.
The annual fundraiser is vital to the many programs and services Child & Family Center provides to children, adolescents, adults and families in our community. Each month over 950 individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use or domestic violence are given the help and support they need.
These unrestricted funds were critical when Child & Family Center’s specially trained therapists on our CARE Team (Crisis Aftercare Response and Education) were called upon immediately to respond to those affected by the tragedy at Saugus High School late last year.
Thanks to your generous support, we remain prepared to respond immediately to meet the community’s needs. Together we make a difference to the students, families and the community at large.
It is our hope that in June we will come together with health and celebration and enjoy an afternoon tasting samples from all of our local restaurants, caterers, beer and wine purveyors while dancing to the music of Mark LeVang and friends. Please visit our website to see all of the participating exhibitors and the fantastic live and silent auction items.
The success of Taste of the Town relies a great deal on the generosity of our sponsors. Longtime sponsor Bank of Santa Clarita will be joined this year by Sand Canyon Country Club as co-presenting sponsors. Other sponsors include Southern California Innovation Park, Santa Clarita Studios, Salon 7, Boston Scientific, L.A. County Supervisor Kathryn Barger, VCA Animal Specialty Group, Teri Hughes-Fox Family Foundation , Wolf Creek Restaurant & Brewing Co, Kreyenhagen Family, City of Santa Clarita, Chiquita Canyon, Krego Corp, The Zimmer Family, Classic Designs Jewelry, Thomas Graphics, Andy Gump, A-1 Party, MV Transportation. Media sponsors include the Santa Clarita Magazine, KHTS AM1220 and The Signal.
Again, thank you for your support as we navigate these unprecedented days together. We wish you and yours best wishes for your continued health and safety.
