Wine On The Roof’s Secret Location Postponed to November 13, 2020
A message of thanks from the WiSH Education Foundation
The third annual Wine “on the Roof,” previously scheduled for May 14, is postponed in the interest of public health and safety. We would like to thank our community for supporting all of our SCV foundations throughout the year. Your understanding that these fun events serve a much greater purpose – allowing us to significantly benefit our community by raising critically needed funds – is never taken for granted. We hope you join us and the other, important postponed events, on their new dates and ask you to please support the generous participants and sponsors, now and always, as we navigate the coming weeks. Our hope is that is won’t be long before we are safely together again on the “ROOF.”
Following the Saugus tragedy, WiSH has been outfitting wellness centers districtwide and raising funds to renovate the Saugus quad. With the postponement of several events, revenue has been cut off and spending frozen. Like many small nonprofits, our donations are primarily program-directed; funds received are immediately disbursed to benefit others. At WiSH we pride ourselves in keeping very low overhead so our donors can feel confident they make a difference with every dollar. We are optimistic that the current situation will be short lived, allowing us to weather through, continue our mission, and bring you the events you enjoy.
You’ll be ready to get out and party when #WOTR20 returns, produced by the creative Peter Goossens of Goose on the Loose Productions. Be transported to a very unique rooftop in our secret location where you’ll enjoy a three-course appetizer hour upon arrival, followed by a seated, six course meal, each one paired with wonderful wines by event creator Eve Bushman.
Only 250 tickets will be sold; learn more at www.wishscv.org and Eventbrite. For more information or to sponsor our events, email us at wish@hartdistrict.org. Check our WiSH FB and WOTR event pages for info and teasers!
