FYI Giving Tuesday

I hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and well during this ongoing crisis. I am thank-ful to report that all of FYI’s youth and volunteers are well at this time. FYI staff and Allies have been keeping in touch with the youth and meeting needs as they arise. So far, FYI has pur-chased two laptop computers, helped with a tuition payment, and provided for basic household needs for several youth. FYI has spent approximately $1,500 to meet needs directly resulting from the COVID-19 crisis. We are grateful to be the place where youth can turn when they have no one else.
Although the regularly scheduled #GivingTuesday will still take place on December 1st, a new global day of generosity called #GivingTuesdayNow has been scheduled for tomorrow, May 5th, in response to COVID-19. If you are in a position to donate, please consider doing so to-morrow (or today, if you don’t want to forget!) Our goal is to raise $1,500 to replenish our Emergency Assistance fund. Any gift, large or small, will help FYI continue to assist youth dur-ing this crisis.
