When wolves and coyotes and dogs need to know they are not alone, they howl. All their unseen companions nearby join in. They all want reassurance that someone is there, so when one howls they all howl. It’s their way of checking in and letting each other know they aren’t alone. So, everyday at 8:00 p.m., let’s all go to our doors and windows and howl. Yes. Howl. It’s an easy sound to make, and even your dogs can join in. In this way, we will let each other know we are in this together, and together we are invincible.
