Free Innovative Education for Today
This summer, Temple Beth Ami in Santa Clarita finished developing our new innovative program, TEAM (Temple Education About Me). We are proud to present our next step as we take our school to the next level. We’re providing a flexible, hybrid religious education experience with the Jewish modern family in mind. We are fortunate enough to be able to offer this unique program, FREE of charge.
Weekly, students will be provided individualized assignments in both Judaica and Hebrew that can be done at home on their own time. Students will have an opportunity to check-in online with their teachers. Our B’nai Mitzvah students will also meet with Rabbi Mark Blazer on Wednesdays via Zoom/or in person (based on COVID). In addition, enrichment and community activities will take place once a month on Sundays. The students will have the opportunity to pick activities (chugim) based on their interests, providing a variety of cultural and religious opportunities. These special days will include a student-led service and time to socialize with friends. These opportunities are completely FREE of charge. Chugim may include: art, cooking, music, yoga, tech, dance, book club, community service, etc..
Parent workshops and our library will be available on these Sundays. Please mark your calendars for an informational Zoom on our new program on Sunday, August 16th @ 10am. Email me for the link and registration form: firstname.lastname@example.org.
