Register for the City of Santa Clarita 2020 Neighborhood Cleanup & Online Environmental Expo

It’s time to go outside and clean up Santa Clarita at the 2020 Neighborhood Cleanup and Online Environmental Expo! In lieu of the City’s annual River Rally, this event offers a socially distant alternative that allows residents to pick up litter with family in a safe and fun way.
The Neighborhood Cleanup event will take place on Saturday, September 26 where families can go outside and participate in a day filled with litter pickup, a special scavenger hunt and free swag that residents can pick up at one of the eight drive-thru locations throughout the Santa Clarita Valley. After the event, residents can go online and view a series of educational videos from the comfort of their home at the Online Environmental Expo on GreenSantaClarita.com.
Here’s how you can participate:
Pre-register online on the event page at www.GreenSantaClarita.com.
Hop in your car and pick up your supplies at one of the eight drive-thru supply locations between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Participants will be given a kit filled with trash bags, a drought-resistant plant and FREE giveaways – while supplies last. Complete the scavenger hunt and post your photos on social media using the hashtag #CleanUpSC for a chance to win raffle prizes!
After a fun day outdoors with your family, visit the Online Environmental Expo and check out a series of educational videos from the City’s environmental experts.
Please remember –
Wear a face covering and maintain social distancing while visiting drive-thru stations and picking up litter.
Throw collected litter in designated trash bins at home.
Do NOT enter the Santa Clara Riverbed to pick up waste. Please pick up trash in safe and appropriate areas surrounding your residence.
Stay safe and follow all traffic and pedestrian signage while picking up litter.
